Hi - I am Tiffany Freitas, a Biotech / Tech COO, with a passion for building venues to bring people together in unique and authentic ways. It is a strange thing for an experienced CFO to build businesses where the primary purpose is not to make profit. In my case it was actually the opposite.

When I moved back to the area for the first time since middle school, I was faced with the winning combination of being new and awkward. I wanted to create cool places to meet people in the area. Also, I share a trait with my closest peeps of being obsessed with work so it is a great way to spend time with my favorite people (aka business partners). And lastly, I love the complexity of numbers during the day, but have always needed a creative outlet for new ideas.

Over the last 10 years I have been the sole or lead investor in the following ventures:

• Tread is an indoor cycling and treadmill franchise dedicated to providing its members with a transformative mind and body fitness experience. It is comprised of 3 studios in Winchester and Reading. It has the most advanced lighting and sound system in New England to build the energy in the class as we “Ride as One.”

• Post 1917 is a high-end steak house in Reading, MA. Every ingredient is well thought out to innovate the plate with not only something aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly delicious. Our farm-to-table approach, leverages our own local farm (Perkins Farm) and ensures the highest level of ingredients go into every meal you enjoy.

• Perkins Farm is just finishing construction and continues to expand its purpose. Originally conceived to supply direct farm-to-table ingredients to Post 1917, it is starting to become its own standalone business. It is a haven for local artists, a place people come to learn about horticulture, and is considering formally hosting events.

• TreadFour is a boutique design, build, landscape, and maintenance business founded by friends who share a deep passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the art of creating spaces that truly reflect their clients' personalities. With a track record of building unique spaces (Tread studios and ~12 old home restorations), we made it official. TreadFour is the third and formal manifestation of our dedication to transforming spaces into unique, personalized, and stunning works of art. Tiffany passed the Massachusetts Association of Landscape Professionals exam in 2024 and business parters have MA Contract license and interior design certificate.
